Rajasthan Sees Dip in Night Temperatures as Weather Turns Dry

The weather department has forecast dry weather conditions from September 30 to October 3

UdaipurTimes, Sept 30, 2026 - Overcast skies and light rain in some areas of Rajasthan has caused a small dip in minimum temperatures. Several cities saw a fall of around two degrees below normal in the night-time temperatures. Day-time temperatures are now stable, close to normal.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Tuesday, September 29, the minimum temperature remained around 20°C in Jaipur, Pilani, Sikar, Dabok, Sirohi and Pratapgarh. The lowest was recorded at 15.9°C in Mount Abu and 19.4°C in Sirohi.

Weather remained dry in the past 24 hours in Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota and Ajmer divisions. The IMD has forecast dry weather conditions from September 30 to October 3. Rainfall activity in parts of eastern Rajasthan is expected to slow down.

Meanwhile, some southern and northeastern States across the country may see changing weather conditions with chances of rainfall and occasional thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
