Rajasthan StCB Posts impressive Profit, 4 new DCCBs in Pipeline

The Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank Ltd. held its 70th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday in hybrid mode under the chairmanship of Bank Administrator and Principal Cooperation Secretary Dr. Samit Sharma, highlighting the bank’s financial performance, agricultural lending and expansion plans.

Dr. Sharma said the bank recorded a net profit of Rs 71.14 crore during 2025-26, while fully complying with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) norms relating to CRAR, CRR and SLR.

During the year, short-term crop loans worth Rs 23,790.89 crore were disbursed through Central Cooperative Banks to 31.02 lakh farmers across Rajasthan. In addition, 59,133 cattle rearers received loans amounting to Rs 479.89 crore under the Gopal Credit Card Scheme.

A key focus of the meeting was the proposed establishment of four new District Central Cooperative Banks (DCCBs) in Phalodi, Pratapgarh, Didwana-Kuchaman and Balotra. Dr. Sharma said the process of obtaining RBI approval for the new banks is progressing rapidly, with the required proposals and information being prepared.

The new DCCBs are expected to expand access to banking and credit facilities for farmers, livestock rearers and rural communities in these regions.

The meeting also highlighted progress in PACS computerisation. Rajasthan has recorded 11.69 crore ERP transactions, making it the first state in the country to reach this level, while it ranks second in declaring e-PACS under the computerisation programme.

The AGM unanimously approved the agenda presented by Managing Director Ranjit Singh Chundawat and sanctioned distribution of Rs 14.21 crore as dividend from the bank’s 2025-26 net profit.
