ACME Solar Commissions 107.36 MW BESS At Rajasthan FDRE Project

ACME Solar Holdings has recently commissioned a 107.36 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component of a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan through its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited.

In continuation of its earlier intimation shared on September 17, 2026, ACME Solar, in a stock exchange filing, said it has commissioned Phase-III of the BESS component of the project. The project comprises 53.63 MW/214.52 MWh out of the total 300 MW/1,200 MWh (discharge capacity) FDRE project at Bikaner, Rajasthan.

ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited has commissioned a total of 159.58 MW/638.32 MWh of BESS capacity under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited.

The project commissioning follows ACME Solar’s signing of PPAs for 300 MW and 150 MW with SJVN Limited, aggregating to a total capacity of 450 MW under a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) power project. The ACME Solar project is scheduled to commence power supply from March 3, 2028.

ACME Solar Commissions BESS Component Under FDRE Project

ACME Solar has been making rapid progress in commissioning its BESS projects through its various subsidiaries. ACME Solar has also commissioned a BESS component of its FDRE project through its subsidiary ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited. It commissioned the Phase-I BESS component of 53.73 MW/222.969 MWh, out of the total 250 MW/1,069 MWh (discharge capacity) project.

The BESS component was commissioned under the FDRE project at Village Neemri, Tehsil Rawatbhata, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, on September 30, 2026. Only the BESS component of the project has been commissioned so far, while the corresponding renewable energy generation component is under development
